Emergencies Outside of Surgery Hours

GP Out of Hours Service

The NHS 111 service provides urgent medical care or advice when the surgery is closed. If you require urgent medical assistance that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please phone 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from landlines and mobiles. If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999.

NHS Walk-in Centres

NHS Walk-in Centres offer fast and convenient access to local NHS advice, information and treatment. You do not need to make an appointment. They do not replace your local GP or hospital services but compliment existing services. Some of local centres can be found below.

Wirral Extended Access Service

As part of a Department of Health directive in relation to Primary Care, Wirral CCG now provide an extended GP access scheme to all Wirral patients to help facilitate extended access. You can now book to see a GP in the evening, at weekends or on bank holidays.

This service has been provided across a number of locations on the Wirral.

To book an appointment during the surgery opening times please call 0151 645 2306. Or call at 0151 652 6077 from 10 am to 6 pm at weekend
